The LSPD Vehicle SOP is available to all LSPD Officers so they are aware what vehicles they are authorized to drive at their current rank.

Cadet
As a Cadet the ( 2011 Crown Victoria ) is the only vehicle that should be used unless with an Officer or above. This is the most basic police cruiser; although equipped with all the equipment that would be needed to conduct operations in the field, it lacks the speed other cruisers have, this is used by anyone who has not passed their Cadet Phase 2 training.

Special Vehicle Restrictions
Unmarked Vehicles
Unmarked vehicle(s) should not be used for patrol when there is less than at least 1 other patrol car(s) on duty. If you wish to use an unmarked car for a situation, as. If no other officer is on duty then an unmarked car isn’t allowed.
Situation Vehicles - Van / Riot Van / Prison Bus
The LSPD Van is to be used as a lightly armored prisoner transport van. Under no circumstance should this be used for standard patrol or by anyone that has not completed their probationary Cadet phase.
The LSPD Riot Van is only to be used in situations such as robberies or riots. During a robbery this vehicle can be used as cover and/or a heavy duty transport vehicle mainly for the intimidation factor to dissuade any possible retaliation from any members of the public. It is a heavy duty vehicle and should be used as such. Under no circumstance should this be used for standard patrol or by anyone that has not completed their probationary Cadet phase.
The Prison Bus is a vehicle that is only allowed in transport situations.
It has to be used to transport suspects to the Bolingbroke Penitentiary.
Officer(+) is allowed to drive this vehicle ONLY when there are at least 3
suspects to transport. Also there needs to be backup to guard the bus when
transporting due to the fact of possible hijack.
